Backerkit Surveys approved and smoke test sent

Backerkit surveys have been qced and approved for sending and the first 11 test surveys have gone out.  If you received a survey please go through it since a high response rate makes it easier to catch any problems before the rest go out.  If you get to a spot that it asks a question on sets and you need to see examples there should be pictures there but if not they are visible here.

If you chose pay over time your survey cannot be completed until after the last payment collects correctly which will be toward the end of June.

Thank you for making our project a reality! Sorry for the longer than anticipated delay. Apparently, with the new Pay Later feature for Kickstarter it delays funds being sent up to three months for parts, but we did receive the first wave, which is sufficient to start working on surveys. Here is what has been being worked on:

1. Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards (this took longer than expected and still has two monthly blocks yet to come).

2. We have to find out how many of each deck people are ordering and where we need to ship them. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information.

We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards. The surveys are in review with BackerKit and should be sent sometime before the end of next week.

If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)

Answering your survey helps us get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your crowdfunding account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.

Another set and a half!

Hello Backers,

Today we have a new 13 card tarot sized set dropping by Raven's Art a friend of Linorean Doodles. Again all new sets will be added to the one of everything sets automatically!  Now that is 10 full sets with 1-4 more to come!

We also now have the remaining cards for Amelia's set ready to bring it to the full 22 card set!

We are headed into the last week of the campaign.  Make sure to get your pledges in to get your amazing new sets and support these wonderful artists!

New Artist Preview and Elizabeth Cardback Reveal

Hello Backers,

Quick update tonight.

First, we have a new artist with a set being added, Amelia Anderson.  Amelia's set will be a full 22 card set, but there are 2-3 cards in her extended set that are having a hard time conforming to the print preview settings. These are being fixed in the meantime we wanted to at least reveal her first 13 cards so you can sample her style and know if you want to add her set!

Elizabeth's card back print problems also resolved, so here is her set with the back:

Just now, I received notification that two time card creation backer from 2I's Magi-Nation Kickstarter, Creation on the Discord server, just claimed the fourth out of five create a custom deck set tiers. This has officially put us over our stretch goal to unlock not only a $25 bonus to every participating artist, but also a new 13 card set to be finished by Matt Holmberg and Rich Werner.  We are super excited to see this happening!  You can see the inked pieces that Rich has now finished, and he is working on the 7 remaining cards now.

We are excited to see how the remaining 13 days go.  Remember that all one of every deck tiers will have all 3 of these decks added!

New Set Revealed and $350 to go for stretch goal!

Hello Backers and Followers,

With 2 weeks left to go in the campaign, we have an artist (Elizabeth Queen's) set to add that had some file problems before that have been sorted out, mostly. Her cardback format is still not working with the print requirements, so the mockup has been set to a default text. We will reveal the back as well if it is finished in time to print. This new set will be a 13-card playing card size set and will be added to all backers getting one of each set.

We are under $350 away from the next stretch goal as well, which, as a reminder, will be an added set by legendary artist duo, Holmberg and Werner, official Magi-Nation original and returning artists, as well as the art team for Plants vs. Zombies and several other properties. We are so excited to get that set and also unlock a $25 bonus for each participating artist! With over 100 custom full art cards, consider pledging if you haven't yet, and maybe consider increasing to the $100 tier for one of every deck. That reward will only continue to grow in value as cards are added, and it is already under $1 per card! 

Even one $500 custom card pledge would put us over the line!
